Mojo Vision, Seeing the Future!

There are many things that Athletes are looking for, one of course is a heads-up display. Too many times we look down to get our statistics. Mojo Vision plans to change that, partnerships include Adidas Running (running/training), Trailforks (cycling, hiking/outdoors), Wearable X (yoga), Slopes (snow sports) and 18Birdies (golf). Pretty good partnerships to try and see if this is worth it.

“Today’s wearable devices can be helpful to athletes, but they can also distract them from the focus of the activity; we think there’s a better way to deliver athletic performance data,” Mr David Hobbs, senior director of product management of Mojo Vision, said.

“Wearable innovation in existing form factors is starting to reach its limits. At Mojo, we’re interested in better understanding what’s still missing and how we can make that information accessible without disrupting someone’s focus and flow during training.”

MW x Tracksmith, RUN COMMUTE PACK

A great solution that many of us need at this time. Running with a pack is tough, a pack that is weighted down is tougher.

Mission Workshop is trying to check that box. With the hip lock support ad a tight fit it seems as though they have. It is big, tight, and waterproof. Being from NE, being water-resistant is something that is first on the list. As we start to get back to "normal" many commuters will consider running or biking to work, to stay out of a train, bus or Subway.

San Francisco meets Boston with the creation of the MW X Tracksmith Run Commute Pack. Designed for maximum comfort while cycling, running or hiking. Waterproof, lightweight, and breathable with space for a laptop, hydration reservoir, water bottle, and spare clothes. Height-adjustable waist and shoulder straps along with an internal frame sheet align to keep the pack stable when you’re logging miles. The addition of a tonal reflective stripe is subtle yet highly visible to passing vehicles as the days get shorter. Also includes a removable padded laptop sleeve.

The worst part is the Price $238, check it out.

Blitzart Electric Longboard

This is my first e-board and I can say it is a blast. 15+ blocks 1 mile which used to take me 15-20 min. to walk now takes 5. I have been riding the Blitzart board in NYC for about 2 months, 100+ miles and it is a solid board. Riding in NYC has its challenges and I feel it when riding. Going over rough terrain the motor skips, and you feel the vibration through the board. From block to block, the acceleration is a bit slow, you don't notice this until you have to start and stop at each light.

When you travel long distances, over 3 miles, I could use a bit more power. Tornado Electric Longboard has a 3-month limited warranty. Any defects due to workmanship to the motor, battery and internal electronics are covered by this warranty. The warranty does not cover user damage. Extended warranty is also available. At $279 MSRP, it is a great board, for beginners. I'm ready to step it up and most people will want to after 100 miles.

For kids, this is a great board.

Specs: TORNADO Electric Longboards - Orange
With my weight 160 pounds, the board does about 17 and close to 10 miles.

  • RANGE AND SPEED – With a max speed of up to 17 MPH and a range of over 10 miles. Equipped with a secured 36V, 4.4Ah and 144Wh Lithium-Ion battery pack which can be fully charged within 3 hours.
  • ERGONOMIC WIRELESS REMOTE - Easy to hold wireless remote that controls acceleration and deceleration with reverse capability. Two-speed modes to beginners and advanced riders. Hold function to assist in getting on and off the board. The remote control is rechargeable and comes with a wrist strap.
  • MAPLE WOOD + BAMBOO DECK & PREMIUM GRIP TAPE - The 6-ply maple wood deck sandwiched between a layer of bamboo on the top and bottom of the board giving it more flexibility and sturdiness. The deck is outfitted with grip tape and is concave to keep the rider's feet firmly in place and stay on the board. Supports up a max weight of 300 lb.
  • 350W BRUSHLESS HUB-MOTOR - Hub Motor vs Belt Drive Motor? Hub motors are more reliable and less problematic. Our hub motors give the board an aesthetically pleasing appearance to the overall design. Hub-motors are much quieter than belt driven motors. More importantly, the hub motors board can be kicked like a regular board with or without battery.
  • SHIPS FULLY ASSEMBLED AND READY TO RIDE - Save yourself the time and hassle of the assembly when you can ride your board instantly out of the box.
