So the original take a beating G-Shock , and not cost you and arm and a leg has just reinvented the G-Shock. Got to love a watch that you can just strap on and go, the down side is that it still has a battery. Cool features need a power supply so make it solar to reduce battery changes, nice touch.

"DOVER, NJ, November 23, 2009 — Casio America, Inc. proudly reinvents the G-Shock Frogman, a highly sought after collectible within the G-Shock Family. Released in limited edition, the new G-Shock Frogman GWF1000-1 possesses advanced timepiece technology fused with the classic features that made it an essential dive accessory."

As part of G-Shock’s Master of G Series, the amphibious Frogman is the only model certified by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) for 200M water resistance. Complete with an offset face for added comfort and unique look, the GWF1000-1 also includes Dive Time Measurement Mode to measure the total time spent underwater, time spent on the surface (surface interval) as well as memory log to record dive times which are essential functions for any avid diver.

Visually stunning and bold in its appearance, Frogman also features shock resistance, a tide graph and moon graph for the ultimate in tracking high and low tides, advanced Non-Stop Tough Solar Power and Self-Adjusting Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping Technology.

Non-Stop Tough Solar Power – A tiny, solar panel combined with a large-capacity rechargeable battery enables a variety of energy-hungry functions to operate smoothly. The result is an impressive solar timepiece that assures highly accurate and reliable timekeeping and that greatly reduces the need for battery change.

Self-Adjusting Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping Technology – Receives time calibration signals automatically from up to 6 transmitters around the world (US, Germany, UK, 2 in Japan and China) and updates settings accordingly for pinpoint accuracy. This technology even adjusts for Leap Year and Daylight Saving Time. With Casio’s Atomic Timekeeping Technology, you will always have ultimate precision.

Snowboarding through the SnowTunnel

Well most people need to have snow year round to do their sport of choice. Well the SnowTunnel is here to help, well only if you are in Dubai's lavish indoor ski slopes in the middle of the desert. The Snowtunnel is a fairly simple device mechanically - a corrugated steel drum that has refrigerant piped through it to cool the metal. When water is sprayed on the drum's interior, it quickly freezes. Then, a rider hops inside on a snowboard and sets the drum rotating at a speed they're comfortable with, catching an edge on the iced-over metal and riding it like a cross between a snowboarder and a tube-riding surfer.

Zipp - Speed Weaponry | Wheels | 303 Tubular

Zipp - Speed Weaponry | Wheels | 303 Tubular

The latest version of the Zipp 303 Tubular wheelset was engineered for the rough roads and rugged weather of the spring classics. But, at 1171grams, it’s lighter than many pure climbing wheelsets. So we weren’t surprised that CervĂ©lo TestTeam’s Heinrich Haussler picked 303s for the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix and then rode them to win a Tour de France mountain stage by more than 4 minutes.
Introduced in April 2009, the current 303 tubular is more than 5mm wider and 1mm deeper than its predecessor. Without adding a gram, these changes substantially improved the already superb impact resistance of Zipp’s Carbon Bridge™ technology while offering a more comfortable, forgiving radial stiffness. At the same time, the wider, deeper rim increased the 303’s lateral stiffness for sprinting, cornering, and accelerations. Another benefit is that wider tires have minimal impact on the wheel’s superior aerodynamics.
Meanwhile, the 303’s tire bed has been redesigned to protect against tire damage and pinch flats at low pressure, and for more precise mounting of tubulars. In poor weather, riders will appreciate the improved brake modulation of the new 303’s angled brake track.
Especially for smaller riders like Olympic champion Emma Snowsill, the 303’s stability in crosswinds – combined with its lightness and aero advantages – makes it an ideal choice for draft-legal triathlons on the ITU circuit. It’s equally at home on the muddiest, most rutted of cyclocross courses with top US riders Katie Compton, Todd Wells, and the Cyclocrossworld.com team of Tim Johnson, Jeremy Powers, and Jamey Driscoll.

Twist And Trash The Can

Somethings are obvious other take some time like this idea from Designers: Jiwoon Park & Kwenyoung Choi. There are two things make the NNew Can stand out; one it has a deliberate spiral shape and two its opening-clip has an uplifted indent. The reason for the spiral shape is obvious, it makes it easier for you to twist and crush the can with hand and dump it into the trashcan. And the reason for the indent in the clip is so that you can open the can easily without chipping a nail. I endorse the second reason wholeheartedly coz I always manage to clip mine while opening my soda-can!
